Under John’s leadership, Veravas has developed VeraBIND™ Tau, a novel blood test designed to screen for active tau pathology—a hallmark of Alzheimer’s disease and other tau-related neurodegenerative conditions. The test is currently available through a CLIA-certified laboratory and is being advanced to support disease staging and monitoring of treatment response over time. By tracking changes in disease pathology, VeraBIND Tau has the potential to help clinicians and patients make earlier, more informed decisions—potentially slowing or preventing neurodegeneration.
