Senmaru Hrncirik Maruyama is currently based in Stockholm, where he founded the AI Society – events held with EQT, Strawberry, Talentium, Swedish Longevity Cluster and Wave Ventures – at the Stockholm School of Economics to explore the space between a classical finance education and the technologies steadily reshaping it.
He grew up as a longevity enthusiast and early biohacker, joining the conversation long before most of his peers. At 11, he interviewed Aubrey de Grey and Nuno B. Martins, sparking what became a deep, ongoing engagement with the science and philosophy of human healthspan.
Today, that early passion continues to evolve. He now works with Nordic Angels, the Super Human Network and several longevity/regenerative medicine oriented startups, staying close to the pulse of startup investment and the emerging longevity landscape in the Nordics.
Interests include investing and scaling awesome companies, existentialist philosophy, Gustav Mahler, progressive metal, intellectual history and Arsenal FC.
