Professional Background
Trained in biophysics and biochemistry for my PhD and acting as a group leader in biotech, my entrepreneurial nose landed me as the trained Scientist on the founding team at indieBio. There, we proved that small ($100k!) investments could start viable biotech companies and helped create the startup biotech wave that is now global. The enterprise value of the portfolio passed $2B a while ago—our team deployed $15M in investment.
I am also the Co-Founder and Science Officer at the #plantbased #mycoprotein pet-food company Wild Earth. We raised over $15M and released the first #cellAg food product beyond pilot retail scale across the US.
