Sofia Drobychevskaya is a grant strategist and consortium builder supporting science-based startups and researchers across Europe. She is the Founder and CEO of DeepSync_EU, a company that helps DeepTech startups, university spin-offs, and R&D teams secure non-dilutive EU funding through programs such as Horizon Europe, EIC Pathfinder, EIC Accelerator, and EIT initiatives.

She is a certified Fundraising Consultant by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and serves as a Grant Evaluator for EIT and Horizon Europe DeepTech programmes (non-disclosed roles).

With over 10 years of experience in the startup ecosystem, she has helped secure funding for more than 30 R&D projects across 20+ countries and built consortia involving over 50 universities and research institutions, including RWTH Aachen, University of Tartu, IPN, University of Coimbra, and Lund University.

Her expertise includes grant strategy, cross-border consortium building, and managing complex funding applications in sectors such as Life Sciences, HealthTech, MedTech, Energy, Cybersecurity, and DeepTech. Through her “Fundraising as a Service” model, she supports teams from early planning through proposal writing, compliance, and reporting.

Her work focuses on enabling early-stage DeepTech companies to fund research, IP development, and regulatory preparation without equity dilution, helping bridge scientific innovation to commercialization and venture funding.
